If your camera doesn’t automatically switch to or from Night Vision when lighting conditions change, you might experience a pink, blue or purple hue when watching your camera’s video stream:
- Check to see that the Night Vision setting is on Auto. Select the camera that you want on the Nest app home screen. Tap Settings
Night Vision. You can toggle the switch to Off, Auto or Always On.
- Check that outdoor lighting isn’t shining into the camera lens. In some cases, bright floodlights can prevent the camera from accurately detecting when it’s dark and delay or prevent switching to Night Vision.
- Try unplugging your camera for five minutes, then plug it back in to see if the problem is fixed.
