Experiencing issues with the LED lights on your thermostat heat link in the UK? A small number of customers have experienced an issue where the LED light on their heat link doesn't light up and they can't control heating or hot water. This only applies to 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostats. If this is you, we'd like to apologize for the inconvenience and solve this for you as soon as possible. The fastest way to get help is to visit our partner BOXT's booking form. Once you have submitted the form, BOXT will reach out to you within 2-3 days to arrange a service visit to get you up and running again. When filling out the BOXT form, a case number will be pre-populated for you.

Change email language with the Nest app

The Nest app uses the postcode or ZIP code that you entered in the app to determine which country your home is in. Your home’s country in turn decides your email language.

If you choose an email language in the Nest app that’s unsupported in your home’s country, your email will still be sent in your country’s default language. For instance, if your Nest home is in the US, but you pick French in the Nest app, your email language won’t change to French, and you will still receive your emails in English.

Some countries only support one email language, and some allow you to change your email language.

  1. Open the Nest app or go to home.nest.com if you’re using a computer.
  2. Tap Settings Nest settings icon  Notifications.
  3. Under Home notifications, tap Nest Home Report.
  4. Select a language that is supported in the country where your home is located.
