Update the Google Home app

To set up your Google Nest or Home speaker or display, Google streaming device, Cast-enabled TV or speaker, or Google Assistant speaker, ensure your Google Home app is up to date. Using the latest version unlocks new features and provides an improved setup experience.

On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app .
Tap Menu My apps & games.
Find the Google Home app .
Tap Update.
