Step 1. Set up personalization
One person using your speaker or displayPersonal results must be turned on to add or manage your shopping lists and buy items.
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
- Open the Google Home app

- At the top right, tap your account.

Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your display. To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
- Go back to the home screen.
- Touch and hold your device's tile.
- At the top right, tap Settings

turn on Allow personal results.
If multiple users are using the same speaker or display, everyone who wants to shop on the speaker or display must link their Google Account and voice to the device, even the person who set it up. If you've already linked your Google Account and voice, skip these steps.
- Open the Google Home app

- Tap Home

- If you have more than one home, tap the home you want to add Voice Match to.
- Tap Get started
follow the in-app steps.
- Note: To turn on Voice Match automatically for new devices in the same home, turn on “Automatically enable on future devices.”
Step 2. Set up payments
To start shopping, you must set up payments.

- At the top right, tap your account.
- Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Nest speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
- Tap Assistant settings

Add a single item to your cart
You can add a single item to your cart, one at a time.

Currently you can't change the quantity of items in your cart.
Using the Google Home app
- Open the Google Home app
.
- At the top right, tap your account.
- Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to your Nest speaker or display. To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
- Go back to the home screen, then tap Settings
.
- Scroll down to "Services," then tap Notes and lists. Note: If asked, choose an app to open your list.
- If you have multiple lists, select the list you want to use. At the top left, tap
the list you want to use.
- Tap Add item
.
- Enter the name of the item you want to add to your shopping list, then tap Done.
Buy a single item by voice
You can only buy or reorder a single item per order, even if it's the same item. For example, you can't say "Hey Google, buy two packages of paper towels" (same item) or "Hey Google, buy paper towels and garbage bags" (different items). You'll need to completely purchase one single-time order and then start a new order for additional items. Each single item order has its own tracking number. Multiple item purchases are coming soon.

Note: Merchants on Google Shopping offer shipping at no additional cost when orders exceed a minimum basket amount. If you try to place an order and learn that the order includes shipping fees, you can add the item to your cart instead in order to build a minimum basket.
Manage orders
Cancel order or add substitute optionsFrom email
- Open the order confirmation email.
- Click See more to get to your Orders page, where you can cancel your order until it’s been paid for in-store, or add substitutes.
From Google Shopping site
- Open Google Shopping.
- In the top left corner, tap
Orders
Cancel order.
From Google Shopping app
- Open your Google Shopping app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap Account
Orders. You can cancel an order until it’s shown as “In progress.”
- In the Order details screen, tap Cancel order.
Once you’ve submitted your order, it isn’t possible to edit the items in your delivery. However, you can always place a second order for any additional items you need, or cancel the order and place a new one.
To check on the status of your Google Shopping order, go to your Orders page, under Google Account. Your order status will move from “Packed,” to “In Transit,” to “Completed.”

- Anything less than $3.99 and more than $100, pre-tax. Note: Each single item must be $3.99 or more. For example, you can't buy 4 packs of $.99 gum to reach the $3.99 limit.
