Why you should use Voice Match
Google Nest or Home speaker or display is a shared device and is commonly used by all household members. When each person in the household uses Voice Match, they’ll enjoy a more customised media experience, making the overall media experience even better.
When everyone uses Voice Match on a shared device, each person:
- Can choose their own default music services.
- Gets a personalised music experience.
- This is based on their past interaction with the music service (listening history, songs they liked etc.).
- Controls their own private library for the music service.
- Can access their own saved playlists, songs etc. Also, liking or saving music will save it to their personal library for that music service.
- Avoids reaching the single stream limitation which is common across music services.
- Instead of everyone at home sharing the same Google Account, each member can now use their personal account and avoid interrupting music playback on other linked accounts.
- Can ask to play recommended YouTube Videos or some TV show or movies from a linked streaming service.
- This provides a more personalised experience by continuing playback from your last saved spot.
