Play Android Audio on Google Nest and Google Home speakers and displays

Play your favorite music, playlists, podcasts, and more from your Android device to Google Home. This is also known as mirroring.
  • Casting your Android audio is only available on devices running Android 4.4 or higher.
  • Be sure to not be running "Power Saving Mode" on your Android device. This can limit the processing power of your device which could affect the performance of the Cast Audio feature.
  • Important: The "Microphone" permission in the Google Play Services app needs to be turned on to successfully use the 'Cast Screen/Audio' feature with Chromecast Audio. If you don't have this permission turned on, the Cast Audio session will immediately disconnect after trying to connect.
    • To turn on microphone permissions:
      1. On your Android device, tap Settings  .
      2. Scroll down and tap Apps > Google Play Services > Permissions.

Control volume "Turn it up/down," "Max volume"

Step 3. Control volume by voice

Control the volume using these voice commands.
