Experiencing issues with the LED lights on your thermostat heat link in the UK? A small number of customers have experienced an issue where the LED light on their heat link doesn't light up and they can't control heating or hot water. This only applies to 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostats. If this is you, we'd like to apologize for the inconvenience and solve this for you as soon as possible. The fastest way to get help is to visit our partner BOXT's booking form. Once you have submitted the form, BOXT will reach out to you within 2-3 days to arrange a service visit to get you up and running again. When filling out the BOXT form, a case number will be pre-populated for you.

Reboot Google Nest or Google Home speaker or display

Rebooting your Google Nest or Google Home speaker or display may fix several issues. There are two ways to reboot your speaker or display.

From the Google Home app

  1. Make sure that your mobile device or tablet is linked to the same account as your speaker or display.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3.  Touch and hold your device's tile.
  4. At the top right, tap Settings  and then More More and then Reboot.

Unplug Google Nest or Google Home

  1. Unplug the power cord from your speaker or display.
  2. Leave it unplugged for ~1 minute.
  3. Plug the power cable back in.

 

Note: Rebooting Google Home speaker or Nest display isn't the same as factory resetting Google Home speaker or Nest display. Here’s more about factory resetting your device.
