Share feedback about Google Nest

Important: Before you submit your feedback, please turn on Send device usage data and crash reports to Google. This will include the device logs in your report and help us better investigate the issue. If you prefer to keep this setting off, you may turn it back off after you submit the feedback.

You can send feedback through:

• Voice commands
• The Google Home app

Send feedback using your voice

Say "Ok Google," or "Hey Google," then:	What your speaker or display will say or do:
“Send feedback.”	Transcribe the audio feedback you give and send the transcription to the Google Nest team. The audio of your feedback won't be recorded. On displays, if you don't want to include your personal information or a screenshot, turn off Include personal information or Include screenshot. When finished, tap Send.

Send feedback from the Google Home app

Step 1: Turn on device reports

1. Make sure your phone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Google Nest device, Google streaming device, or Pixel Tablet.
   • Check that your devices are on the same Wi-Fi network
   • Check which Google Account is linked to a speaker or display
2. Open the Google Home app .
3. Tap and hold your device's tile.
4. Tap Settings Recognition & sharing.
5. Turn on Send [device model] device usage and crash reports to Google.
   Example: Send Google Home device usage and crash reports to Google.

Step 2: Share your feedback

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. At the top right, tap your Google Account.
3. Tap Feedback.
   • Optional: To adjust your feedback privacy settings, tap Account & system information. You can choose to send feedback anonymously and if you want to include system logs with your feedback report.
4. Tap Get Started.
   • Optional: To allow access to device logs to be included with your feedback report, tap Allow one-time access when prompted.
5. In the field provided, enter the details of your feedback. Make sure not to include sensitive information.
6. Tap Send .
   • Optional: Choose if you want to include a screenshot.
     • To highlight or hide parts of the screenshot, tap Highlight or hide info.
     • If you don’t want to include the screenshot, tap Remove the attached screenshot .
7. Tap Continue.
8. Select either Yes or No when prompted to receive email information or updates about your feedback.
