Change Wi-Fi router or point name

You can change the name of Nest Wifi and Google Wifi routers and points in the Google Home app.

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Favourites   Wi-Fi .
3. Tap Point .
4. Under 'Points', tap your router or point.
5. Tap Settings   Device name. For some points, 'Device name' will appear after tapping Device information.
6. Enter a new device name.
7. Tap Save.
