Change Wifi router or point name

You can change the name of Nest Wifi and Google Wifi routers and points in the Google Home app.

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Home   Wifi .
3. Tap Wifi devices.
4. Under “Points,” tap your router or point.
5. Tap Settings   Device name. For some points, "Device name" will appear after tapping Device information.
6. Enter a new device name.
7. Tap Save.
