Restart Nest Wifi or Google Wifi devices

Restarting your router or points can sometimes fix common issues. There are a few ways to restart your devices.

With the power cable

  1. Unplug the power cable from your Wifi device.
  2. Wait 10-20 seconds for it to fully power off.
  3. Plug the power cable back into your Wifi device.
  4. Wait 1 to 2 minutes for it to fully power on.

With the Google Home app

Restart your entire network

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Tap Favorites  and then Wifi   Network settings   Restart entire network.

Restart an individual point

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. Tap and hold your device's tile.
  3. Tap Settings   Restart Wifi point.

Note: Only points can be individually restarted.
