Cómo reemplazar tu Nest Protect después del vencimiento

Para cumplir con los estándares de certificación, el Nest Protect (2ª gen.) debe reemplazarse después de 10 años a partir de la fecha de fabricación. Cuando determines que tu dispositivo debe reemplazarse, deberás seleccionar un dispositivo de reemplazo, desinstalar tu Nest Protect y configurar el dispositivo de reemplazo.

We've partnered with First Alert, a trusted brand in fire safety, to offer the First Alert Smart Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Alarm as a compatible replacement for your 2nd gen Nest Protect when used with the Google Home app. You can learn more about this device on First Alert’s website.

Important: First Alert Smart Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm requires the Google Home app to work with your other Nest Protect devices.

Check your eligibility for a refund

Important: If all your Nest Protect devices are reaching their replacement date, they may not be eligible for refunds.

You might be eligible for a refund if a replacement device that’s compatible with Nest Protect isn’t available in your region. Only one refund per household can be applied for eligible devices.

Once submitted, our teams will review your request and reach out to you in 5 to 7 business days. Cómo desinstalar el Nest Protect

Con cable Corta su suministro de energía en el tablero eléctrico. Gira el Protect en el sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj para quitarlo del soporte de montaje. Desenchufa el conector de 120 V de la parte posterior del dispositivo Protect. Desatornilla el soporte de montaje.
