Google Nest or Home device not connected to Wi-Fi network

If you've lost your Wi-Fi connection or recently changed your Wi-Fi name, password, or service provider, you may need to set up your Google Nest or Home speaker or display again.

Tip: If your voice assistant responds to questions or commands, your device is connected to Wi-Fi. Learn more about how to fix a problem.

To try fix the issue:

  1. Open the Google Home app .
  2. From the Home tab, tap Add Add Icon and then Device and then Search for device .
  3. Complete the setup steps.
