If you get a ‘device unmounted’ message in the Home app, check that your camera or doorbell is correctly attached to the stand, mounting plate or third-party mount. If the message doesn’t go away, this often means that you need to change the mount type with the Home app.
- Open the Home app .
- Tap your device's tile.
- At the top right, tap Settings Device information Camera mount.
- Select an option to change the type of mount that you’re using.
