Set & manage timers and sleep timers
Set and manage a timer for cooking, game time, laundry, and even sleep. It’s great for the kitchen, but can be used in the living room, bedroom, and more!
Note: Just say “stop” to turn off your timer or alarm.
Sometimes, you want help from your Assistant without having to say “Hey Google” every time. Starting today, you can turn off a timer or alarm by saying, “stop.” This feature runs completely on-device and is activated by the word “stop” when an alarm or timer is going off. This has been one of our top feature requests, and is available on Google Home speakers and all Smart Displays in English-speaking countries globally.'
Note: If Digital Wellbeing is enabled, this feature may be restricted or blocked by either Downtime or Filters. Please go here for more information on Digital Wellbeing.
Timer alert sounds will only be played from the internal Google Home speaker and not other Cast devices (ex. TVs, other speakers) that are associated with the Google Home device.
