Learn how to review or make changes to your Google Health data and privacy settings.
Your Google Health and wellness data won't be used for Google Ads and is kept separate from Google Ads data.
Delete your Google Health and wellness data
- Open the Google Health app
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial
- Tap Your data in Google Health.
- Under Your Google Health data, tap Deletion options.
- Swipe to check your data.
- Tap a data type.
- Select the kind of data you want to delete. You can choose:
- Delete today’s data
- Delete all (data type) data
- Delete a custom range
- Confirm the data you want to delete.
- Tap Confirm and Delete.
Download your Google Health data

Manage your privacy settings in Google Health
Choose a feature privacy control to review how it uses your data. You can choose to turn it on or off.
- Open the Google Health app
.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
- Tap Your data in Google Health.
- Under Feature privacy controls, tap Manage feature privacy controls.
- Select the type of data you want to turn on or off:
- Irregular rhythm notifications
- ECG (Electrocardiogram)
- Cycle health
- Advanced AI personalized insights
- Sync your medical records to Google Health
- Sync Google Health with Health Connect
- Google Health Coach
- To turn data off, tap Turn off
Turn off.
- At the top left, tap Back
to return to the previous screen.
Tip: Data for the duration that you used the feature is still stored even after you turn off the feature. To delete that data, refer to Delete your Google Health and wellness data.
Turn social sharing settings on and off in the Google Health app
You can control what statistics you share with friends in your Leaderboard, including Steps and Cardio load.
- Open the Google Health app
.
- At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
- Tap Google Health settings.
- Under Social, tap Sharing preferences.
- Tap to enable or disable sharing your Steps and Cardio load on the leaderboard.
To add more friends to the app to share step count and your cardio score, visit Connect with friends on Google Health.
