How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

The time on your Fitbit device may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings.

Fix the time on my Fitbit device

If you changed time zones and the time on your device is still incorrect after syncing, make sure the time zone in the Google Health app is correct.

  1. Open the Google Health app .
  2. On the Today tab , tap your Profile picture or Initial and then Google Health settings.
  3. Under “App Settings,” tap Date, time & units.
  4. Tap Time Zone.
  5. Turn off the Set Automatically option and choose the correct time zone.
  6. Sync your Fitbit device.
  7. If the time is still incorrect, log out of the Google Health app, and then log back in before syncing again.
Switch my Fitbit clock time to a 12 or 24 hour clock
