Turn on the device lock to keep your Fitbit device secure. This feature is required if you use Google Wallet to make contactless payments.
To protect your financial data, Google Wallet requires a 4-digit PIN code. When you set up Google Wallet, the device lock is turned on automatically.
If you don’t want to enter your PIN every time you wear your device, you can set it to ask for your PIN only when you make a payment. For more information, refer to Reduce PIN frequency.

- Force quit the Fitbit app and re-open it.
- Try to sync your device by pulling down on the Today tab
.
- If the device syncs successfully, retry step 1.
Step 3: Factory reset your device
If your device screen is stuck on "Unlock with your phone" and the app can’t connect to unlock it, perform a manual factory reset. This erases all data on the device and lets you set it up as new.
