Export a copy of your Google Health data, like activity, exercise, sleep, and heart rate. Data isn’t available for deleted accounts.
If you received a data export email from Fitbit and didn’t make the request, change your password. For more information, refer to How do I change or reset my Fitbit password?
If you login with a Google Account, follow the instructions for How to download your Google data. Make sure Google Health is selected to download a copy of your data.
Important: If you haven’t migrated to a Google account and you still sign in with your original Fitbit login follow these instructions:
To export a complete archive of your Fitbit account data:
- Visit the Fitbit settings page.
- When asked to sign in, sign in with your Fitbit login.
- Once signed in, click Data Export under the Settings menu.
- Under Export Your Account Archive, click Request Data.
- You’ll receive an email at the address associated with your Fitbit account. Open the email and confirm your data export request.
- Once the archive is ready, you’ll receive another email with a link to the Data Export page. Follow the link to download your Fitbit account data.
- Download and save the data file to your computer. If you have a Fitbit family account, you’ll see separate folders for each child account.
Note that if you have a large amount of Fitbit data it can take up to a few days to generate your account data archive. Check the status of your request in your Data Export account settings.
To export your recent Fitbit account data:
- On the Fitbit settings page, click Data Export under the Settings menu.
- Click Export a selection of your Fitbit data.
- Choose the time period and data you want to include, and the file format.
- Click Download.
Export data for GPS exercises to a Training Center XML (TCX) file, which displays GPS data as activities.

Open the Google Health app
and tap the Fitness tab
.
- Tap the activity that you want to export.
- Tap More
tap Export.
- Share or save the file.
