We recommend that you use the charging cable that came with your device. Note that after several hundred charge cycles, your device may need to be charged more often.

*Using features such as always-on display and GPS require more frequent charging.

  • If you turn on always-on display:
    • Charge 5, Charge 6, Inspire 3, Sense 2, Versa 2, and Versa 4 have a battery life of up to 3 days.
    • Edge, Luxe, Sense, and Versa 3 have a battery life of up to 2 days.
  • If you use built-in GPS continuously:
    • Edge and Ionic has a battery life of up to 10 hours.
    • Charge 4, Charge 5, and Charge 6 have a battery life of up to 5 hours.
    • Sense, Sense 2, Versa 3, and Versa 4 have a battery life of up to 12 hours.

**Maximum battery life is approximate and is based on testing conducted on pre-production hardware and software, using default settings with a median user battery usage profile across features. Battery life depends on features enabled, usage, environment and many other factors. Use of certain features will decrease battery life. Actual battery life may be lower.

***Google Fitbit Edge: To protect your battery’s long term health, your Fitbit Edge will automatically power down and enter a protective state when the battery reaches 4-5%.
