Add, edit, or delete a Currents comment

When someone shares a post, you can add a comment to join the conversation. And if you don't like what you wrote, you can edit or delete your comment.

You can also use your settings to choose who can comment on your Currents posts.

Add a comment

You can comment on posts others shared on Currents, and everyone who can see the post can read your comment. You can also see who a post was shared with.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Currents app .
2. Find and tap the post you want to comment on.
3. Tap Add a comment or Comment .
4. Type your comment and tap Post.

Edit a comment

If you want to change something you wrote, you can edit the comment you left on a post. You can't edit other peoples' comments.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Currents app .
2. Find and tap the post you commented on.
3. Tap on the comment you want to edit  Edit comment.
4. Make your changes and tap Post .

Choose who can comment on your Currents posts

If you want to stop certain people from commenting on what you post, open Currents on your computer.

Stop people from commenting on a post

If you want to make sure people can't comment on something you shared, you can change the setting of that post.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Currents app .
2. Tap the post you don't want people to comment on.
3. Tap More   Disable comments.

Delete a comment

If you want to delete a comment you left on a post, you can remove it.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Currents app .
2. Find the post you commented on and tap your comment.
3. Tap Delete comment  Ok.

Delete and report a comment & block the user

You can delete a comment someone left on your post, report the comment, and block the commenter with one action. You can also choose to delete all recent comments by the user from your posts.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Currents app  .
2. Tap the post with a comment you want to delete from a user you want to report and block.
3. Tap the comment  Delete, report, and block.
4. Optional: turn on "also delete recent comments by this user."
5. Tap Block.
