Follow the instructions below to disable unused IMAP clients and remove extra devices from your Gmail account.

Remove or disable unused IMAP clients

  1. On your computer, open Gmail.
  2. In the top right, click Settings Settings and then See all settings.
  3. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  4. In the IMAP access section, disable IMAP.

Remove managed devices from Gmail account

Go to Approve, block, unblock, or delete a managed device or follow these steps:

  1. From the Admin console Home page, go to Devices.
  2. Choose an option:
    • To delete Android, iOS, and Google Sync devices, click Mobile devices.
    • To delete desktops and laptops, click Endpoints.
    • To delete a mix of device types, click Devices.
  3. To delete one device, point to the device and click More and then Delete Device. To delete many devices, select the devices you want to delete and click More and then Delete Devices. Deleted devices are removed from the list of managed devices.
