Trash & Recently saved

The Google Clips app shows you the clips that are stored on your Google Clips camera. When you save a clip, a copy of that clip is downloaded to your mobile device and possibly saved in Google Photos. The copy of the clip that’s stored on your Google Clips camera is moved to Recently saved. Clips in Recently saved are deleted after 7 days.  When you delete a clip, it’s moved to your camera’s Trash without being saved. Clips in the Trash are also deleted after 7 days.

Clips stored in Trash & Recently saved are permanently deleted when:

  • They have been stored in Trash or Recently saved for more than 7 days.
  • Your Google Clips camera requires more space for clip storage.
  • You manually delete clips.
  • You perform a factory reset on your Google Clips camera.
