Check the Google Clips battery level in the app

When you're connected to your camera in the Google Clips app, the battery icon in the upper-left corner tells you how much charge is left on your camera.

Check the Google Clips battery level with camera LEDs

When your device is charging, the LED pattern on the front of your Clips camera tells you the current charging status of the device.

LED Pattern Battery Status
1 to 3 flashing white lights The battery is charging
3 solid white lights The battery is fully charged

 

When your device is capturing, LEDs will indicate that your camera is capturing and alert you when the battery is running low.

LED Pattern Battery Status
1 pulsing white light The battery has more than 15% charge
1 pulsing amber light The battery is getting low (below 15%)
1 solid amber light The battery is empty (camera can't capture)

How long does the Google Clips battery last?

When you're connected to your camera in the Google Clips app, the battery icon in the upper-left corner tells you how much charge is left on your camera.

From a full charge, your Google Clips camera provides up to three hours of capture time and several weeks of standby time.

Your battery may drain more quickly with frequent use of features like Live Preview or from viewing clips on your camera during capture.

Standby Mode

Your Google Clips camera will go into standby mode after not being used for 24 hours. To wake Google Clips from standby mode, press the button on the front of the camera.
