How others join your Google Meet conferencing appointments

To help you and the people who make appointments with you stay organized, Google Calendar automatically sends:

  • Confirmation emails
  • Reminder emails
  • Cancellation emails
  • Event update emails

When you add Google Meet video conferencing to an appointment schedule, an appointment email is automatically sent that includes:

  • A meeting link
  • A phone number with a meeting pin

To use appointment schedules, you must have a Google Workspace Individual subscriber account. You must use a computer to set up appointment schedules.

Tip: If you or the person who booked an appointment with you forwards the appointment confirmation email to someone, the recipient can cancel the booked appointment.
Tip: If you want to use a third-party video calling service, when you create the appointment, for "Location and conferencing," select None/ to be specified. After the appointment is booked, edit the booked event to add meeting info. Installation of a Google Workspace Marketplace add-on is recommended.
