These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the following Google Cloud education programs (“Program(s)”):
- Google Cloud Credits for Teaching and Learning
- Google Cloud Research Credits
By participating in one of the Programs listed above, you (“You”) agree to these Terms:
The Google Cloud credit or other promotional credit or benefit (collectively “Benefit(s)”) you receive through the Program is valid for Google Cloud products and is subject to Your acceptance of the applicable Google Cloud License Agreement and any other applicable terms of service that accompany the Google cloud product or service.
To be eligible to participate in the Program and receive Benefits, You represent that:
- You are authorized to accept the Benefit;
- Your acceptance of the Benefit is consistent with all applicable laws and regulations, including relevant ethics rules and laws;
- providing Benefits will not negatively impact Google's current or future ability to do business with Your educational entity;
- You are not a resident of a US embargoed country, ordinarily a resident in a US embargoed country, and not otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls and sanctions programs from participating in the Program.
If You are a faculty member at an educational institution, You represent that You are accepting the Benefit on behalf of the educational institution, that You will only use the Benefit on behalf of the educational institution in connection with your role as a faculty member and not for Your personal use.
If you are a student at an educational institution, You represent that You are accepting the in your capacity as a student of the educational institution and that You will only use the Benefit for skill-building and career development purposes and not for Your personal use.
The Benefit is non-transferable and may not be sold or bartered. Benefits do not have commercial value and may not be used for commercial purposes.
Unused Benefits may expire. Benefit expiration information will be stated on the media conveying your Benefit, the details for your particular Program, and/or in the console / platform you're using for the Program.
Benefits may be issued all at once, or in increments over the period of time during which the Benefits are valid.
You may not use the Benefits to engage in mining cryptocurrency unless You have obtained Google’s written consent in advance, which Google may revoke in its discretion at any time.
You are responsible for determining the applicable tax treatment of receiving Benefits and for paying all applicable taxes.

Program Terms
Google Cloud Credits for Teaching and Learning
By submitting this form, you, on behalf of yourself (“You”) agree to these terms and conditions: The credit is valid for Google Cloud Platform products and is subject to Your acceptance of the applicable Google Cloud License Agreement and any other applicable terms of service. The credit is non-transferable and may not be sold or bartered. Unused credit expires on the date indicated on the media conveying the promotion code. The credit may be issued in increments as You use the credit over the period of time during which the credit is valid. The credits do not have commercial value and may not be used for commercial purposes.
Offer void where prohibited by law. If you are a faculty member at Your educational institution, You represent that You are accepting the promotional credit on behalf of Your educational institution and the credit can only be used on behalf of the educational entity in connection as a faculty member at Your educational institution and not for Your personal use. Your use of the credit may be reported back to Your educational institution. If you are a student at Your educational institution You represent that the credit can only be used in your capacity as a student of Your educational institution for skill building and career development purposes and not for Your personal use. In addition, Credits may not be used to engage in mining cryptocurrency unless You obtain Google’s written consent in advance, which consent may be revoked by Google in its discretion at any time.
You represent that (i) You are authorized to accept this credit; (ii) the credit is consistent with all applicable laws and regulations, including relevant ethics rules and laws; (iii) the provision of credits will not negatively impact Google's current or future ability to do business with such educational entity; (iv) You are not a resident of a US embargoed country; (v) You are not ordinarily a resident in a US embargoed country; and (vi) You are not otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls and sanctions programs from participating in the credit redemption program.
Google Cloud Research Credits
For Faculty Researchers and PhD Candidates who are requesting Google Cloud credit for their research project. They will require billing information in order to create their Google Cloud billing account.
By submitting this form, You, on behalf of yourself (“You”) agree to these terms and conditions: The credit is valid for Google Cloud Platform products and is subject to Your acceptance of the applicable Google Cloud License Agreement and any other applicable terms of service. The credit is non-transferable and may not be sold or bartered. Credit awards must be activated within 60 days of the project start date indicated in the application form. Credit awards expire 365 days from the coupon redemption date, or when the credit amount has been fully used, whichever comes first. The credit may be issued in increments as You use the credit over the period of time during which the credit is valid. The credits do not have commercial value and may not be used for commercial purposes.
Offer void where prohibited by law. If you are faculty at Your educational institution, You represent that You are accepting the promotional credit on behalf of Your educational institution and the credit can only be used on behalf of the educational entity in connection with the project described in this application form and not for Your personal use. Your use of the promotional credit may be reported back to Your educational institution. If you are a PhD Candidate at Your educational institution, You represent that the credit will only be used in connection with the project described in this application form and in your capacity as a PhD candidate at Your educational institution. Credit cannot be used for Your personal use. Your use of the promotional credit may be reported back to Your educational institution. In addition, Credits may not be used to engage in mining cryptocurrency unless You obtain Google’s written consent in advance, which consent may be revoked by Google in its discretion at any time.

Training Credits - Skills boost, Qwiklabs, & Coursera
For Faculty and Students who are requesting credits to Coursera and Skills boost/Qwiklabs. They are not receiving cloud credit through this offering.
Google reserves the right to determine an individual's eligibility for training credits. It might take up to two (2) weeks for your application to be processed. We will send information about your credits to the email address that you've provided within ten business days.
By submitting this form, you, on behalf of yourself ("You") agree to these terms and conditions: The program benefits and/or credits you may receive (together, “Credit” or “Credits”) is valid for Google Cloud training and certification and is subject to Your acceptance of the applicable terms of service for the training and certification platforms.
