Eligibility

What are the eligibility requirements for the Google Cloud research credits program?

Applicant must be part of faculty, a PhD student or a Postdoctoral researcher at a regionally accredited academic institution or nonprofit research institution in one of the following countries:

We do not support for-profit institutions. Nonprofit research institution's mission must be aligned to expanding academic research and advancing open scientific knowledge for society's benefit.

 

Can graduate students or PhDs conducting research apply?

PhD students conducting research are eligible to apply for $1000 in GCP research credits. Graduate students are not eligible for research credits.

 

My country is not listed. How can I get research credits?

If our programs are not available in your country, or if your school is not listed as an eligible institution, you can register your interest using the Express Interest form. We hope to expand to other geographies in the future.
