How do I get Google Ads account representatives to stop calling my business lines and sending me emails?  If I need their assistance I will contact them. There must be a way to stop their calling which borders on harassment.

This "recommended answer" couldn't possibly be more untrue. Google ads reps harass and call me all the time, and yes they really are Google ads reps not scammers or fakes. They are relentless, calling some days at 5:00am, and not once but twice and sometimes even a third time to make sure I'm thoroughly annoyed. Followed by an onslaught of email telling me they have been trying to contact me but must have missed me and I should schedule a consult. And it's not like I'm the only one, there are countless threads on the internet of people complaining about the exact same thing.
I have tried again and again to stop this but to no avail.
It would be one thing if the calls were helpful but they are not. They are just salespeople in another country trying to get ad users to use features they don't need or want which drive up ad costs. And recommending changes that would have absolutely no positive effect for the business I am advertising.

Hi, I 100% agree and will be following this thread to see if there is a way to get them to stop the onslaught of calls daily. I run multiple accounts and I get a different rep for every single account. Then they tell me to do the exact same thing every single time raise my budget. I don't need or want to raise the budget if I feel the need to raise it I will go in there and raise the budget myself. They are very annoying and not helpful in any way. Google Ads should just be a hotline for questions if the advertiser needs advice or help.

As a manager for 22 Google Ads client accounts, I have also been receiving multiple (sometimes 4 or 5 a day) calls and emails from Google strategists wanting to set up meetings to review my client's ad assets. I was spending more time on the phone with Google than doing my work. Finally my boss intervened and said to stop responding to the calls.
Yesterday, I did as the above poster (James Clemens) suggested and set all my account Preferences to OFF for "Customized help and performance suggestions:"
If the calls are genuine, one way to decrease it is by going over the "tool" icon on the top right corner of Ads and then on "Preferences". Select "Notifications" on the top of the page and turn off the options: "Customized help and performance suggestions", "Google market research" and "Special offers".
We'll see if it helps.

Same story here. Google account reps calling every day with horrible advice for my business. I'm seriously considering shifting all budgets I get away from the platform at this point. The system has become less effective over the years.
