Google Ads Editor checks for updates on startup and periodically while it's running. If an update is available, Google Ads Editor will alert you and ask if you want to upgrade.
If you choose to update, Google Ads Editor will restart running the new version. Some account data may need to be refreshed in order to allow new features. You'll have the option to migrate local unposted changes to the new version following download. If you choose to update later, you can do so at any time by selecting the "Update to" button in the bottom right corner of the Google Ads Editor window.
Releases that don’t require you to re-download your account will be done in the background and will be available when you next open Google Ads Editor.
