Assets are what make your App campaign ads shine and help ensure that your ads are effective. There are 2 types of assets that you can use for your App campaign ads.

Non-store assets
Headlines
Add up to 5 headlines using 30 characters or less for each.
Descriptions
Add up to 5 descriptions using 90 characters or less for each.
Videos
- Videos must be hosted on YouTube.
- Orientation can be landscape, portrait, or square.
- If you don’t have videos to add, Google Ads may make a video ad for you using assets from your campaigns and your app store listing.
Images
- Upload images as .jpg or .png with a maximum size of 5MB:

Before you create an App campaign, consider the following tips for creating your HTML5 assets:

- To validate your HTML5 assets before uploading, run your .ZIP file through the Google Ads HTML5 Validator tool.
- Upload your asset as a .ZIP file with a maximum size of 5MB and no more than 512 files within the .ZIP.
- You can upload up to 20 .ZIP files for each ad group.
- UTF-8 must be used for non-ASCII characters.
- The HTML5 asset should have a responsive design because it will render in a range of full-screen display sizes.
- Sound and video are supported for HTML5 ads for App campaigns.

Store assets
In addition to the non-store assets you create, Google Ads surfaces store assets, which are automatically created assets, pulled directly from your app store listing such as Google Play. These assets provide transparency into performance and facilitate policy review, appearing alongside your user created non-store assets in reporting tables and custom reporting areas within Google Ads.
The following are considered store assets and are visible in Google Ads Front End (GAFE) and the Google Ads API:

How to resolve disapproved store assets?
The visibility of store assets in Google Ads provides you with the ability to view and resolve both Google Ads and Google Play policy disapprovals for these assets. Each asset type has a specific purpose, and therefore, there are different ways to violate the policy for each asset type.
