Link a Google Ads account to an existing credit line

Please follow the listed 3 steps in order to link a Google Ads account to an existing credit line. Please note that all steps are required.

1. Link your Google Ads account to a manager account

To link a Google Ads account to an existing credit line, the account needs to be linked to a Google Ads manager account (or MCC).

Is your Google Ads account linked to a manger (or MCC)?

2. Authorize your MCC to use the credit line

For security reasons, in order to link a Google Ads account to a credit line, its Google Ads manager account (or MCC) needs to be authorized to use the credit line. Once authorized to use a credit line, a Google Ads manager account (or MCC) will be able to autonomously connect all its sub-accounts to the credit line.

You will receive a confirmation email from Google Ads Support when the authorization is confirmed. Please allow for one week in order for your request to be processed. Have you already authorized your Google Ads manager account to use your credit line by completing this request and received a confirmation email from Google Ads Support?

  • If yes, please proceed to Step 3.
  • If no, in order to proceed and link a Google Ads account to an existing credit line, you need to authorize your Google Ads manager account to use that credit line. To request this authorization you can fill in this request. The request will be managed by the Google Ads Support team.

If you're unsure whether you have already filed a request to authorize your Google Ads manager account to use a specific credit line, please re-request the authorization.

Keep in mind: You request has to be filled out while you are logged with the primary contact’s email address or with an email address with the same domain of the primary contact of the credit line. For example, if the primary contact of the credit line is admin@ExampleCompany.com, the request needs to be filled by anyone with a @ExampleCompany.com email address.

3. Link your managed Google Ads accounts to the credit line

You can now autonomously link all sub-accounts linked to your authorized Google Ads manager account (or MCC) to the credit line.

Use the following instructions to link a Google Ads account to a credit line.

  4. Select the date on which the change will go into effect.
