How Google Partners uses manager account access levels
Your access to Google Partners features will depend on your association with a Google Ads manager account (MCC) and your access level. If you do not have a Google Ads manager account, but you do want to get certified, check out Academy for Ads for Google trainings and Google Ads certifications.
What this means for you
For your certifications to count toward badge and company specialization status
- In Google Ads: Any user whose email has admin or standard Google Ads manager access to your company's Google Ads manager account (MCC), or sub-manager accounts, will be considered affiliated with your company and will have their Google Ads certifications count toward your company's badge and specialization status. Keep in mind: Users with read-only access may not contribute to your badge and specialization status.
- Be sure to include your company email address in your Academy for Ads profile, or be sure your Academy for Ads account email is associated to your company’s manager account.
- Share your account information with your company in order for your certifications count toward your company badge and specializations.
Note: You may see a difference in your count of certified users because of this change.
To view badge and company specialization status
- In Google Ads: Any user who is associated with your company's Google Ads manager account, with admin, standard or read-only Google Ads manager access, will be able to see the Partners program tab and your company's badge and company specialization status.
