Why you may not see your ad

Looking everywhere for your ad but still can't find it?

Review these common reasons and fixes if you ads are not running:

  • Check the Ad preview tool to see why your ad might not be appearing for a specific keyword. Learn how to use the tool here
  • Check the ad, campaign, and ad group statuses to see if your ads are not running due to a “Paused” or “Removed” status. Learn how to resume ads here
  • Check the campaign settings to see if your ads are not appearing regularly because the campaign is limited by budget.
  • Check the campaign’s bid strategy to see if your ads are not running due to an “Inactive,” “Learning,” “Limited,” or “Misconfigured” status. Learn more about bid strategy status here
  • Check the keywords to see if your ads are not running due to a “Low search volume” status.
  • Check your account’s billing summary to confirm if you have submitted valid billing information. Your ads will not run until your Google Ads account is active with valid billing information.
