YouTube features no longer available
Channel art and channel icon editing on mobile
Previously, you could update your channel icon and channel art from the mobile app in your channel settings. This feature was built on an older system connected to Google+ that no longer work. We’re looking into whether we can rebuild this feature in the future.
Private video sharing to Google+ circles
Private videos can no longer be shared with Google+ circles. Videos that were previously shared with a Google+ circle are no longer available to those circle members. These circles have been removed from the list of people with access to your video.
You can still share your private videos with individual people. Learn more about video privacy settings.
Links to Google+ profiles on YouTube channel pages
Google+ custom URLs for channel pages
Google+ custom URLs such as google.com/+youtube no longer work. You can still create YouTube custom URLs for your channel.
Commenting with outdated versions of the YouTube mobile app
On mobile app versions older than September 2016, you can no longer read or comment on YouTube videos. Commenting on these app versions relied on Google+. Going forward, you’ll see a message to update your app or try connecting through our mobile website at https://m.youtube.com.
