A feature that you can set up to automatically make changes to your ad statuses, budgets and bids, so that you don't have to spend so much time manually monitoring your campaigns.
- Here are some examples of what you can set a rule to do automatically: change your budget on certain days of the week, turn on and off certain ads for a special promotion and pause keywords that aren't performing well.
- You choose the requirements for your rule, including what types of changes it can make, how often it will run and at what time of day.
- It's especially important to select minimum and maximum limits for your bids and budgets so that you don't accidentally spend more than you want or decrease your traffic.
- To get started creating rules, just click the "Automate" button on the Campaigns, Ad groups, Keywords or Ads tab in your account.
