A feature you can set up to automatically make changes to your ad statuses, budgets, and bids, so you don't have to spend so much time manually monitoring your campaigns.
- Here are some examples of what you can set a rule to do automatically: change your budget on certain days of the week, turn on and off certain ads for a special promotion, and pausing keywords that aren't performing well.
- You choose the requirements for your rule, including what types of changes it can make, how often it will run, and at what time of day.
- It's especially important to select minimum and maximum limits for your bids and budgets so that you don't accidentally spend more than you want or decrease your traffic.
- To get started creating rules, just click the "Automate" button on the Campaigns, Ad groups, Keywords, or Ads tab in your account.
