On the "Products" page you can review information and metrics organized by product, category, brand, product type or custom label. You can use these attributes to filter and subdivide your products within your Google Ads campaigns to control which items are eligible to be shown. For example, you can use Product groups (in Standard Shopping campaigns) or Listing groups (in Performance Max campaigns) to include or exclude specific sets of products based on attributes like Brand or Custom labels.

Review the different types of information you can view on this page below.

Product data

Product data refers to detailed information about the products you sell, such as images, prices, and descriptions, that you submit to Google Merchant Center. Google uses this data to automatically create ads and match your products to relevant customer searches. Learn more about product data.

Product diagnostics and issues

Product diagnostics help you understand the status of your inventory at the account, campaign, listing group, and ad group levels by identifying which products can show in ads and which can’t.

To provide more granular detail, product issues appear within a specific column to reveal what’s preventing your products from showing or causing them to have limited performance. By fixing the issues in this column, you can directly address the specific errors flagging which items need your attention and improve the performance of your campaigns using your product data.

Product category insights

Product category insights provide data on product performance and search trends within product categories. Use this information to meet increased demand and be more competitive. These insights also suggest ways to improve the product category performance. Learn more about product category insights.
