Manage linked accounts

When retailers link a Merchant Center and a Google Ads account, they can start the process by sending an invite from either platform.

An invite can be canceled or resent at any time. Additionally, once it’s been accepted, it’s possible to remove the link between the accounts from either the Merchant Center or the Google Ads account at any time.

This article describes how to make these changes.

Instructions

Cancel a link request from Merchant Center

  1. In your Merchant Center account, select Settings in the left navigation menu.
  2. Select Access and services.
  3. Select Apps and services tab.
  4. In the Google Ads tab, you’ll see the request listed with the customer ID of the Google Ads account.
  5. On the right, select Remove access.
  6. When prompted, select Continue.

Unlink accounts from Merchant Center

  1. In your Merchant Center account, select Settings in the left navigation menu.
  2. Select Access and services.
  3. Select Apps and services tab.
  4. Select the account you'd like to unlink and select Remove access.

Unlink accounts from Google Ads

  1. In your Google Ads account, select the Tools icon Tools Icon.
  2. Select Data manager.
  3. Under “Google Merchant Center", select Details.
  4. Find the account you want to unlink and select Unlink.
