Glass comes equipped with a web browser to quickly look up more information after a search. Some search results have references to the website source. Tap the search result and select View website. Now that you're viewing the website, let's learn how to surf the web using Glass.
Slide your finger forward on the touchpad to scroll down.
Slide two fingers forward or backward to zoom.
With two fingers down on the touchpad, move your head around to pan.
As you look around, use the round pointer to target links. Tap the touchpad to select anything in the center of the screen.
- Websites will detect that Glass is a mobile device and automatically deliver the mobile version of their website. This is expected, and frankly, pretty nice of them.
- Glass doesn't currently support signing in to websites or the use of other forms. You'll probably need to find a device capable of typing for that.
- While some YouTube videos will play normally, many others (including those requiring Flash) won't.
Living with Glass
Glass is designed for micro-interactions, not for staring into the screen, watching Friday night movie marathons or reading "War and Peace."
