Low-touch provisioning allows a customer to set Glass Enterprise Edition up by scanning a QR code that points to a mobile device management (MDM) agent or to a custom agent. The agent then takes care of the entire device provisioning and configuration process.
Provision the device
For firmware version OPM1.210425.001 or later:
- Tap and hold on the touchpad to start provisioning.
- Swipe forward or backward and tap to select the language.
- Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
- Place the QR code in the rectangle visible on the screen.
- Wait for the provisioning process to finish.
For firmware version OPM1.210124.001:
- Tap and hold on the touchpad to start provisioning.
- Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
- Place the QR code in the rectangle visible on the screen.
- Wait for the provisioning process to finish.
For earlier firmware versions:
- Tap on the touchpad to start provisioning.
- Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
- Place the QR code in the rectangle visible on the screen.
- Wait for the provisioning process to finish.
Skip provisioning
For firmware version OPM1.210425.001 or later:
- Tap on the touchpad to start setting up the device.
- Swipe forward or backward and tap to select the language.
- Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
- Swipe forward and select to enable or disable the automatic software updates from Google.
- The launcher application should appear on the screen.
For firmware version OPM1.210124.001:
- Tap on the touchpad to start setting up the device.
- Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
- Swipe forward and select to enable or disable the automatic software updates from Google.
- The launcher application should appear on the screen.
For earlier firmware versions:
- Swipe down on the touchpad to skip provisioning.
- Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
- Tap to enable or swipe down to disable the automatic software updates from Google.
- The launcher application should appear on the screen.
