Provision the device using a QR code

Low-touch provisioning allows a customer to set Glass Enterprise Edition up by scanning a QR code that points to a mobile device management (MDM) agent or to a custom agent. The agent then takes care of the entire device provisioning and configuration process.

Provision the device

For firmware version OPM1.210425.001 or later:

1. Tap and hold on the touchpad to start provisioning.
2. Swipe forward or backward and tap to select the language.
3. Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
4. Place the QR code in the rectangle visible on the screen.
5. Wait for the provisioning process to finish.

For firmware version OPM1.210124.001:

1. Tap and hold on the touchpad to start provisioning.
2. Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
3. Place the QR code in the rectangle visible on the screen.
4. Wait for the provisioning process to finish.

For earlier firmware versions:

1. Tap on the touchpad to start provisioning.
2. Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
3. Place the QR code in the rectangle visible on the screen.
4. Wait for the provisioning process to finish.

Skip provisioning

For firmware version OPM1.210425.001 or later:

1. Tap on the touchpad to start setting up the device.
2. Swipe forward or backward and tap to select the language.
3. Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
4. Swipe forward and select to enable or disable the automatic software updates from Google.
5. The launcher application should appear on the screen.

For firmware version OPM1.210124.001:

1. Tap on the touchpad to start setting up the device.
2. Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
3. Swipe forward and select to enable or disable the automatic software updates from Google.
4. The launcher application should appear on the screen.

For earlier firmware versions:

1. Swipe down on the touchpad to skip provisioning.
2. Tap to accept the terms and conditions.
3. Tap to enable or swipe down to disable the automatic software updates from Google.
4. The launcher application should appear on the screen.
