Connect to Wi-Fi networks

You can connect to Wi-Fi networks from the settings by using the "Wi-Fi" card.

Enable Wi-Fi

To enable Wi-Fi:

1. Tap on the Wi-Fi card.
2. Tap again to enable Wi-Fi.

Connect to Wi-Fi network

You can connect to a Wi-Fi network by scanning a QR code or selecting a network from the list.

Scan QR code

To connect to a Wi-Fi network by scanning a QR code:

1. Generate the Wi-Fi QR code for your network using a generator.
2. Tap on the Wi-Fi card to enter the Wi-Fi settings.
3. Swipe forward on the touchpad to select the "Scan QR code" option.
4. Tap to start scanning for the Wi-Fi QR code (a camera preview will appear in the Viewfinder).
5. Center the QR code in the box displayed on your Viewfinder.

Join open network

To join an open Wi-Fi network:

1. Tap on the Wi-Fi card to enter the Wi-Fi settings.
2. Swipe forward on the touchpad to select the "Join network" option.
3. Tap to confirm selection.
4. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
5. Tap to confirm selection.

Join secured network

To join a secured Wi-Fi network:

1. Generate the Wi-Fi QR code for your network using a generator.
2. Tap on the Wi-Fi card to enter the Wi-Fi settings.
3. Swipe forward on the touchpad to select the "Join network" option.
4. Tap to confirm selection.
5. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to.
6. Tap to start scanning for the Wi-Fi QR code (a camera preview will appear in the Viewfinder).
7. Center the QR code in the box displayed on your Viewfinder.

Join WPA2 Enterprise network

Glass Enterprise Edition can be added to a WPA2 network during the provisioning process.

Disconnect from Wi-Fi network

To disconnect from a Wi-Fi network:

1. Tap on the Wi-Fi card to enter the Wi-Fi settings.
2. Swipe forward on the touchpad to select the "Forget" option.
3. Tap to confirm selection.

Disable Wi-Fi

To disconnect from a Wi-Fi network:

1. Tap on the Wi-Fi card to enter the Wi-Fi settings.
2. Swipe forward on the touchpad to select the "Disable Wi-Fi" option.
3. Tap to confirm selection.
