You can choose the language that Gemini Apps display, and in certain cases understand, in language settings. This setting changes the language for the menu, notifications and other text in Gemini Apps. It also affects the languages that you can talk to Gemini in when you say 'Hey Google' or use the mic in the prompt field. Regardless of this setting, Gemini Apps can understand and reply in any supported language when you type your prompt or speak in Gemini Live.
Important: Some features in Gemini Apps, like Gemini's voice setting, aren't available in all languages.
