You can ask Gemini Apps to create and show your notes and lists in Google Keep, HONOR Notes, OnePlus Notes, OPPO Notes, Samsung Notes, TECNO Notepad, Vivo Notes, and Xiaomi Notes. You can also ask them to add items to existing lists in Google Keep.

What you need

To connect your notes and lists apps to Gemini Apps, you need to:

Be signed in to the Gemini app. Learn how to sign in to Gemini Apps.

Have Keep Activity on. Gemini can’t connect to these apps when this setting is off.

Important:

The supported notes and lists apps aren't available in Gemini in Google Messages.
Gemini Apps can hallucinate responses or provide outdated information. To check the information, click and review the sources listed after the response.

Connect your notes & lists to Gemini Apps

Connect Google Keep

To work with your notes and lists from Google Keep in Gemini Apps, Google Workspace must be connected to Gemini Apps.

On your phone or tablet, open the Gemini mobile app or go to gemini.google.com.
Make sure you’re signed in to the same account you use with Google Workspace.
Ask the Gemini app to create or find a list from Google Keep.
- Tip: To tell Gemini Apps to specifically use Google Keep, add @Google Keep to your prompt.
If Google Workspace isn’t connected, you’ll get the option to connect it.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Connect HONOR Notes

Important: The Gemini mobile app supports the HONOR Notes app only on Honor Magic V5 devices, and only if the HONOR Notes app is installed on your device. This app is connected by default on the supported HONOR device.

Open the Gemini mobile app .
Ask the Gemini app to create or find a note in HONOR Notes.
- Tip: To tell the Gemini app to specifically use HONOR Notes, add @HONOR Notes to your prompt.
If you disconnected the HONOR Notes app, you’ll get the option to connect it again.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Connect OnePlus Notes

Important: The Gemini mobile app supports the OnePlus Notes app only on the OnePlus 13S or later devices, and only if the OnePlus Notes app is installed on your device. This app is connected by default on supported OnePlus devices.

Open the Gemini mobile app .
Ask the Gemini app to create or find a note in OnePlus Notes.
- Tip: To tell the Gemini app to specifically use OnePlus Notes, add @OnePlus Notes to your prompt.
If you disconnected the OnePlus Notes app, you’ll get the option to connect it again.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Connect OPPO Notes

Important: The Gemini mobile app supports the OPPO Notes app only on the OPPO Find N5 or later devices, and only if the OPPO Notes app is installed on your device. This app is connected by default on supported OPPO devices.

Open the Gemini mobile app .
Ask the Gemini app to create or find a note in OPPO Notes.
- Tip: To tell the Gemini app to specifically use OPPO Notes, add @OPPO Notes to your prompt.
If you disconnected the OPPO Notes app, you’ll get the option to connect it again.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Connect Samsung Notes

Important: The Gemini mobile app supports the Samsung Notes app only on the Galaxy S25 or later and select Samsung devices running OneUI7 and later, and only if the Samsung Notes app is installed on your device. This app is connected by default on supported Samsung devices.

Open the Gemini mobile app .
Ask the Gemini app to create or find a note in Samsung Notes.
- Tip: To tell the Gemini app to specifically use Samsung Notes, add @Samsung Notes to your prompt.
If you disconnected the Samsung Notes app, you’ll get the option to connect it again.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

For the best Gemini experience ensure your Google app is updated to the latest version.

Connect TECNO Notepad

Important: The Gemini mobile app supports the TECNO Notepad app only on TECNO POVA 7 5G devices, and only if the TECNO Notepad app is installed on your device. This app is connected by default on the supported TECNO device.

Open the Gemini mobile app .
Ask the Gemini app to create or find a note in TECNO Notepad.
- Tip: To tell the Gemini app to specifically use TECNO Notepad, add @TECNO Notepad to your prompt.
If you disconnected the TECNO Notepad app, you’ll get the option to connect it again.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Connect Vivo Notes

Important: The Gemini mobile app supports the vivo Notes app only on the vivo X200 FE, X Fold 5, V60, V60e, or later devices, and only if the vivo Notes app is installed on your device. This app is connected by default on supported vivo devices.

Open the Gemini mobile app .
Ask the Gemini app to create or find a note in vivo Notes.
- Tip: To tell the Gemini app to specifically use vivo Notes, add @Vivo Notes to your prompt.
If you disconnected the Vivo Notes app, you’ll get the option to connect it again.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Connect Xiaomi Notes

Important: The Gemini mobile app supports the Xiaomi Notes app only on Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, or later devices, and only if the Xiaomi Notes app is installed on your device. This app is connected by default on supported Xiaomi devices.

Open the Gemini mobile app .
Ask the Gemini app to create or find a note in Xiaomi Notes.
- Tip: To tell the Gemini app to specifically use Xiaomi Notes, add @Xiaomi Notes to your prompt.
If you disconnected the Xiaomi Notes app, you’ll get the option to connect it again.

Tips:

You can disconnect these apps anytime in your Connected Apps settings. Learn how to manage Connected Apps in Gemini.
If you connect multiple notes and lists apps, the Gemini app defaults to the last one it accessed. To manage a different app, you can specify it in your prompt by adding @ and selecting the app.
You can also manage your calendar events for some apps in your Gemini Live chats. Learn how to use Connected Apps in Live chats.
You can also say 'Hey Google' to ask Gemini to use a connected app. If "Hey Google" doesn’t work, check if “Hey Google” and Voice Match are set up.

What Gemini Apps can’t do

Gemini Apps can’t perform certain actions in your notes and lists apps for you, like:

Share notes and lists
View images and drawings
Add an image

In addition, Gemini Apps can’t currently modify a note or delete notes and lists in Samsung Notes or Xiaomi notes. Gemini Apps also can’t delete a shared note owned by someone else.

You can ask Gemini Apps to perform a task and create a note or list. For example:

Recommend some activities for [event] and save this to Keep.

Tell me what steps I need to take to [goal or task]. Then create a list in Keep.
Find a recipe for [dish] and create a list of the ingredients in Keep.

Tips:

To create a note in Google Keep, you can add “Save this to Keep” or “@Google Keep save this.” Or, to create a list in Google Keep, add “Create a list in Keep” or “Create a list of the [items, steps, ingredients, …] in Keep.”
To create a note in another app, you can add “Save this to @[app name]” or “@[app name] save this.”

Tip: On supported Samsung mobile devices, the Gemini mobile app can add an item to an existing list in the Samsung Reminder app if the app is connected in your Connected Apps settings.

You can ask Gemini Apps to perform a task and add an item to an existing list in Google Keep. For example:

Find me a recipe for [dish] and save the ingredients to Keep.

Tip: To undo an action, select Undo in the confirmation notification, or open and edit the list linked below the response. If you created a note with Gemini Live on in the background, Gemini can’t undo the note.
