Export responses from Gemini Apps

You can export responses from Gemini Apps to Google Workspace apps like Gmail and Google Docs. You can also export code to developer tools like Google Colab and Replit.

Important: If you export content or code from Gemini Apps, the terms and policies of the service you export to will apply to that content.

Export responses to Google Workspace

Important: If you’re signed in to a Google Workspace account, your export options will vary depending on availability and Workspace settings. Also, export options vary by Gemini app.

Export a response to Google Docs

In the Gemini web app

Below the response, tap Share & export and then Export to Docs. This saves a new doc in Google Drive.

In the Gemini mobile apps

Below the response, tap More and then Export to Docs. This saves a new doc in Google Drive.

Export a response to Gmail

Important: This feature is only available if you have a Gmail account.

In the Gemini web app

Below the response, tap Share & export and then Draft in Gmail. This creates a new draft email in Gmail.

In the Gemini mobile apps

Below the response, tap More and then Export to Gmail. This creates a new draft email in Gmail.

Export a table to Google Sheets

Important: This feature is only available for responses that have a table. Tables with images can’t be exported to Sheets.

In the Gemini web app

At the bottom right of the table, tap Export to Sheets. This saves the table in a new spreadsheet in Google Drive.

In the Gemini mobile apps

This feature isn’t currently available on the Gemini mobile app.

Export code

Export Python code to Google Colab

Important: Export to Google Colab isn’t available for Workspace accounts at this time.

In the Gemini web app

Below the response, tap Share & export and then Export to Colab. This saves a new Colab notebook in Google Drive.

In the Gemini mobile apps

This feature isn’t currently available on the Gemini mobile app.

Export code to Replit

In the Gemini web app

  1. Below the response, tap Share & export and then Export to Replit.
  2. Review the disclosures.
  3. Choose whether to continue.
    • To cancel: tap No, thanks.
    • To continue: tap I understand, open Replit. This sends your prompt and the Gemini app's response to Replit. If needed, sign in to your Replit account.

In the Gemini mobile apps

This feature isn’t currently available on the Gemini mobile app.
