Use Dark theme in Gemini Apps

You can switch between a Dark theme and Light theme in Gemini Apps. By default, the colour scheme for the Gemini app matches the colour scheme of the device that you're on.

Important:

• In the Gemini mobile apps, you can switch between Dark and Light themes when you update your device's theme settings.

In the Gemini web app

When you switch colour schemes, your preference is saved for the next time that you open the Gemini web app on the same browser and device.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, go to gemini.google.com.
2. At the top, tap Menu Settings and help .
3. Turn Dark theme on or off .

In the Gemini mobile app

The colour scheme for the Gemini mobile app matches the colour scheme of the device that you're on. To change it:

1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Tap Accessibility Colour and motion.
3. Turn Dark theme on or off.
