Users who signed up for a self-serve Gemini Enterprise - Business Edition instance before a centralized company purchase will maintain access to their personal instance. Within the application, these users can easily select and switch between their personal and the new company-purchased instance.
Administrative enforcement
The company administrator responsible for the license has the authority to enforce organization-wide usage policies. This may include requiring users to delete their previous personal instances if the company mandates the exclusive use of the centralized Gemini Enterprise - Business Edition instance.Data loss
Important: There is currently no migration path for data between Gemini Enterprise - Business Edition instances. If a user chooses to delete their pre-existing personal account to move to the company instance, all data associated with the personal instance will be permanently lost.
