Create & manage songs in Google Flow Music

Create songs with text, image, and audio prompts in Google Flow Music. You can also edit, remix, share, and download these songs.

Create songs in Google Flow Music

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select New session.
  3. In the prompt box, describe the music you want to create.
    • For example: "Make a high-energy synth-pop track with female vocals about a rainy night in Tokyo."
  4. Optional: At the bottom of the prompt box, add references to your prompt.
    • Record audio into the session with your microphone: Select Add and then Recording.
    • Use your music to create: Select Add  and then Audio.
    • Use images to inspire lyrics or cover art: Select  Add and then Image.
  5. Select Send .
  6. After Google Flow Music generates results, listen to them.
    1. Hover over a song.
    2. Select Play

Edit songs in Google Flow Music

Prompt Google Flow Music to edit your song

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select Songs.
  3. Select a song.
  4. In the prompt box, describe how you want to edit the song.
    • Change the song structure: For example, type "Shorten the intro to 4 bars" or "Add a bridge before the final chorus."
    • Adjust the mix: For example, type "Make the kick drum punchier" or "Add more reverb to the vocals."
    • Swap styles: For example, type "Change the instruments to an acoustic folk vibe."

Edit your song details

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select Songs.
  3. Next to a song, select More More and then Details and then Edit details.
  4. Edit your song’s song name, cover art, or displayed lyrics.
  5. Select Save.

Change your song’s composition

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select Songs.
  3. Select a song.
  4. At the top right, select Compose
  5. Under “Lyrics,” “Sound,” or “Details,” make your changes.
  6. Select Generate.

Remix your song

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select Songs.
  3. Next to a song, select More More and then Remix.
  4. Select Extend, Cover, or Replace.
  5. Select a section of the audio to change.
  6. Describe the changes you want to make.
  7. Select Generate.

Share your songs from Google Flow Music

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select Songs.
  3. Select a song.
  4. To make your song publicly visible, select Publish.
    • To get a link to your song that you can share, select Share and then Copy link.
    • To change who can find your song, select Published and then Anyone with the link or Only me.
    • To disable remix, vibes, and downloads by others, turn off Allow community remix.

Download songs from Google Flow Music 

Download a single song

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select Songs.
  3. Next to the song you want to download, select More More and then Download.
  4. Select a file format.

Download multiple songs at once

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select Songs.
  3. Next to each song you want to download, select the checkbox.
  4. At the top right, select Download. The files will download in a .zip file to your device.

Delete songs from Google Flow Music

  1. On your device, sign in to Google Flow Music.
  2. On the left, select Songs.
  3. Next to a song, select the checkbox.
    • You can select multiple songs at the same time.
  4. At the top, select Delete.
