Google Flood Hub is Google's publicly available tool to display the output of our flood forecasting models. Google Flood Hub empowers you to take timely action by providing local flood data and forecasts up to 7 days in advance. This visual, easy-to-use tool displays:
- Water trends
- Real-time flood forecasts
- Local inundation maps
- Flood alerts
Leveraging Google's AI models and global data sources, Flood Hub is designed for governments, aid organizations, and individuals at risk. All information is free, publicly available, and shareable. Forecasts are updated daily.
You can view a map with all river gauges for which we have data (forecast or past). For each gauge, we provide a hydrograph and forecasts. Inundation maps highlighting expected flood zones are also available in some areas.
Our models are currently covering more than 5,000 locations across river basins in over 100 countries. Our research teams are working tirelessly to develop ways to expand our coverage.
