Track flights and prices

If you’re not ready to book a trip, you can use Google Flights to track prices for a flight or route.

Track prices for a route or flight

You can get emails and Google Now cards when the price for a flight you're tracking changes significantly.

  1. Go to Google Flights.
  2. At the top, choose the number of stops, cabin class, and how many tickets you need.
  3. Choose your departure airport and destination.
  4. To track prices for this route, turn on the switch next to "Track prices."
  5. Optional: To track prices for a specific flight, choose your flights, then click Track price.

See tracked flights or turn emails off

  1. Go to Google Flights.
  2. In the top left, click Menu Menu and then Tracked prices.
    • To see flights you’re tracking, click a saved route.
    • To turn tracking emails on or off, click the switch next to "Email notifications."
  3. Optional: To stop tracking a route or flight, click Remove Remove.

Get insights about price changes

You’ll see a notification in Google Flights, get an email, or get a mobile notification when:

  • Prices for a route you’re viewing will likely go up.
  • The current fare for a flight will expire soon and the new fare will likely cost more.

This includes our estimate of how much prices will likely go up and our confidence in each estimate.
